02 March 2010 นิทรรศการเครื่องเคลือบดินเผา FOR ENGLISH PLEASE SCROLL DOWN Turn Me On นิทรรศการเครื่องเคลือบดินเผา โดย นีโน่ สุวรรณี สาระบุตร จัดแสดงที่ Rotunda & Garden Gallery and Cafe ๒-๓๐ มีนาคม ๒๕๕๓ พิธีเปิดนิทรรศการจะมีขึ้นในวันเสาร์ที่ ๖ กุมภาพันธ์ ๒๕๕๓ เวลา ๑๘.๓๐ น. เพื่อเป็นการเชิดชูความงามของร่างกายมนุษย์อย่างขี้เล่น Turn Me On ชักชวนคนดูให้หันกลับมาดูทรวดทรงองค์เอวของตัวเอง และสนุกกับส่วนก้น ลองมาท้าทายสายตาและถามตัวคุณเองว่ารู้สึกอย่างไร เมื่อต้องเผชิญหน้ากับบรรดาก้นเกลี้ยงๆ งามๆ เรียงแถวหน้ากระดานแถมยังส่องแสงยั่วยวนตา ก้นเซรามิกส์ปั้นด้วยมือ จากดินสโตนแวร์ และ พอร์ซเลน เผาด้วยความร้อนสูง 1,230 - 1,280 องศาเซลเซียส จนแกร่งทนต่อ พลังสายตาที่จับจ้อง ไม่หวั่นสัมผัสจากมือที่เย็นเฉียบหรือร้อนผ่าว หรือแม้ถ้อยคำชื่นชม เล้าโลม ยั่วยวน หรือวิพากษ์วิจารณ์อย่างจาบจ้วงก็ไม่มีสะทกสะท้าน ลอง Turn them onและ ไม่ว่าคุณจะรู้สึกอย่างไรเมื่อได้เห็นและได้สัมผัสก้นเหล่านี้ ถามตัวคุณเองว่า คุณได้ Turn on รึเปล่า? Turn Me On เป็นศิลปะการจัดวาง ceramic light installation โคมไฟเซรามิกส์รูปก้น แต่ละชิ้นปั้นขึ้นรูปด้วยมือ ตกแต่งพื้นผิว ทำ texture ลวดลาย และเคลือบด้วยเทคนิครายละเอียดที่แตกต่างกัน แต่ละชิ้นส่องแสงสว่างมากน้อย หลายหลายไปตามวัสดุ ความหนาบาง พื้นผิว ลายฉลุ แหล่งที่มาและช่องแสง และเป็นนิทรรศการเดี่ยวครั้งที่ ๒ ของ สุวรรณี สาระบุตร ต่อเนื่องจากแนวความคิดเรื่องความรู้สึกที่ไม่จำกัด จากการแสดงเดี่ยวครั้งแรกของเธอ Exploring Love การจัดวาง installation ชามสโตนแวร์รูปหัวใจบนผนัง ครั้งนี้เธอเลือกแสดงแง่มุมใหม่ของความรู้สึกของมนุษย์ สำหรับผลงานการจัดแสดงครั้งแรกสามารถชมได้ที่ www.ninosarabutra.com นีโน่ สุวรรณี สาระบุตร เป็นนักปั้นและเป็นครีเอทีฟไดเร็กเตอร์ในวงการโฆษณา ที่มีประสพการณ์กว่า ๑๗ ปี ในแวดวงโฆษณาไทย เอเซียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ และในยุโรป ปัจจุบัน เธอเป็นศิลปินนักปั้นแบบเต็มตัว ส่วนเวลาว่าง ก็เป็น part-time Thailand Correspondent ให้นิตยสาร Campaign Brief Asia, เป็นที่ปรึกษาบริษัทผลิตภาพยนตร์โฆษณา the Bandits Bangkok และเป็นที่ปรึกษาให้กับเอเจนซี่โฆษณา Maxima Kiev ในประเทศยูเครน นีโน่เรียนจบเซรามิกส์อาร์ตรุ่นที่ ๓ จากมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร เคยเป็นดีไซเนอร์ให้ บริษัท เวนิช เซรามิกส์ เคยสอนวิชาประติมากรรมเซรามิกส์ที่ the Sculpture Academy ในกรุงลอนดอนประเทศอังกฤษ เคยร่วมแสดงงานในงานแสดง ศิลปะเครื่องปั้นดินเผาแห่งชาติ และ ที่ Quay Arts Centre บนเกาะ Isle of Wight ที่ประเทศอังกฤษ ข้อมูลเพิ่มเติม โทร 02-233-1731 The Rotunda and Garden Gallery & Cafe เปิดให้บริการ วันอังคาร-อาทิตย์ เวลา ๐๙.๓๐-๑๗.๐๐ น. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ?Turn Me On? Ceramics exhibition By Nino Sarabutra At Rotunda and Garden Gallery & Cafe 2-30 March 2010 The opening ceremony will take place on Saturday 6 March 2010 at 6:30 pm Celebrating the art of the human body in a playful way ? ?Turn Me On? invites viewers to re-examine themselves and ?have fun with bums?. Challenge yourself and discover how you feel when confronted with many illuminated, beautiful naked bums. The bums, in porcelain and stoneware, have been built by hand, fired to the high heat of 1,230 ? 1,280 degrees Celsius. They are highly resistant to shy or brash stares, hot or cold touches, polite or direct critique, sexy or loving emotions. So try turning them on and no matter how you feel when seeing or touching them, ask yourself: Are You Turned On? ?Turn Me On? is a bum shape ceramic light installation. Individually hand-built stoneware or porcelain with different finishes, glazed, unglazed or textured. Each bum gives out different light and brightness depending on the material, thickness, texture, glaze, light source and light exit. This is Nino Sarabutra?s second solo exhibition in Thailand. It continues the theme of ?uncontrolled emotion? from her first solo ?Exploring Love? ? a wall installation of heart-shape stoneware bowls. Nino takes a different angle on human emotions. You can see her previous work at www.ninosarabutra.com Nino Sarabutra is an artist and advertising creative director who has spent 17 years in advertising in Thailand, South East Asia and Europe. She is currently a full-time ceramicist, and part-time Thailand Correspondent for Campaign Brief Asia magazine, Consultant for the Bandits Bangkok Production Company and Consultant for Maxima Kiev - a creative agency in the Ukraine. She studied Ceramics at Silpakorn University in Bangkok, was a designer at Venich Ceramics and the Ceramic Sculpture Instructor at the Sculpture Academy in London. Her work was exhibited in National Ceramic Exhibition in Bangkok and in Quay Arts Centre on the Isle of Wight, England. For further information please contact 02-233-1731.
