29 October 2009 เปิดแล้ว!!! ห้องสมุดอาร์ต อาร์ต "The Reading Room" ความฝันของคุณเกี๊ยว ผู้หญิงเก่ง ตัวเล็กๆ เป็นจริงแล้ว เมื่อห้องสมุดศิลปะ The Reading Room ได้ฤกษ์เปิดให้บริการหนังสือเกี่ยวกับศิลปะร่วมสมัยกว่า 1,000 เล่ม ทั้งภาษาไทยและภาษาต่างประเทศ ประกอบด้วยสูจิบัตรนิทรรศการ หนังสือประวัติศาสตร์ศิลปะ ทฤษฎีศิลป์ นิตยสาร และสื่อ electronics ต่างๆ โดยแบ่งข้อมูลหลักๆได้สองส่วนคือ ส่วนฐานข้อมูลศิลปะร่วมสมัยไทย และส่วนหนังสืออ้างอิงและสูจิบัตรนิทรรศการศิลปะจากประเทศอื่นๆ The Reading Room ยังจะมีการจัดกิจกรรมโดยเฉพาะเสวนาพูดคุย จัดฉายภาพยนตร์และทำ workshop ทั้งที่เกี่ยวกับศิลปะและสาขาอื่นๆทั้งภาพยนตร์ วรรณกรรม สังคมศาสตร์และมนุษยศาสตร์ ซึ่งมีความเกี่ยวข้องกับวัฒนธรรมร่วมสมัย กิจกรรมหลักของห้องสมุดในปีหน้าคือ กิจกรรมเสวนาหัวข้อการตีความเกี่ยวกับห้องสมุด ความรู้และความทรงจำ ซึ่งจะจัดขึ้นทุกสองเดือนโดยจะเชิญนักวิชาการและผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิสาขาต่างๆมาแลกเปลี่ยนทรรศนะกันเพื่อสร้างบทสนทนาระหว่างองค์ความรู้ข้ามสาขา นอกจากนี้ ห้องสมุดจะจัดฉายภาพยนตร์ทดลองและ video art ร่วมกับกลุ่ม Film Virus โดยจะจัดฉายเดือนละสองครั้ง เริ่มจากกลางเดือนพฤศจิกายนนี้ ห้องสมุด The Reading Room เป็นองค์กรไม่แสวงหาผลกำไร และเปิดให้บริการโดยไม่คิดค่าใช้จ่ายใดๆ เพราะฉะนั้น คนรักงานศิลปะก็ช่วยๆกันไปให้กำลังใจคนตั้งใจทำงานคนนี้กันด้วยนะคะ ต้องการข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมกรุณาติดต่อ เกี๊ยว อีเมล์ kyo@readingroombkk.org *The Reading Room *2351/4 ถนนเจริญกรุง (ปากซอย 91) ยานนาวา กรุงเทพฯ 10120 โทรศัพท์: 02-289-0395 มือถือ: 089-666-7978 อีเมล: kyo@readingroombkk.org เว็ปไซด์ www.readingroombkk.org เวลาทำการ: พุธ-อาทิตย์ 13.00-19.00 น ตารางกิจกรรม - Screening Schedule: ทุกรายการเริ่มตั้งแค่ 15.00 น. - All program starts from 3pm Sat. The Reading Room will also host series of events, especially talks, screenings and workshops from various fields from art to literature to film to sociopolitical issues that are relevant to contemporary culture. The library's main event, which will officially start next year, is a bimonthly talk series based on the idea of library, knowledge, and memory, inviting scholars and distinguished guests from diverse fields.
