24 February 2010 artist@work โครงการเพื่อศิลปะของ The Pikture Gallery เดอะพิคเจอร์แกลเลอรี ได้มีการขยายกิจการและเปิดพื้นที่ชั้น 2 ของอาคาร ให้เป็นศูนย์การเรียนรู้ศิลปะ โดยจะมีทั้ง ห้องเรียนศิลปะสำหรับเด็ก ห้องเรียนศิลปะสำหรับผู้ใหญ่ ห้องสมุดสูจิบัตรงานศิลปะ รวมถึงสตูดิโอทำงานศิลปะสำหรับศิลปินคลื่นลูกใหม่ โดยมีรายละเอียดดังนี้ artist@work เป็นโครงการใหม่ที่เริ่มขึ้นภายใต้การดูแลของเดอะพิคเจอร์แกลเลอรี เพื่อรองรับและสนับสนุนศิลปินใหม่ๆที่มาพร้อมกับผลงานที่มาจากความคิดสร้างสรรค์ และในบล็อคนี้คุณจะได้อ่านและติดตามความเป็นไปของการทำงานจากศิลปินแบบวันต่อวัน โครงการ artist@work เริ่มจัดตั้งขึ้นในปี 2552 โดยสนับสนุนพื้นที่การแสดงออกทางศิลปะให้กับศิลปินหน้าใหม่ โดยมีพื้นที่การทำงาน ระยะเวลา และโอกาสสำหรับผู้ที่มีศรัทธาในงานศิลปะ โดยในช่วงระยะเวลา 2 ถึง 3 เดือน ศิลปินจะต้องมีผลงานของตนเองภายใต้แนวความคิดเดียวกัน ตั้งแต่เริ่มต้นจนกระทั่งจบการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานรวมถึงจัดแสดงเป็นนิทรรศการ ภายในห้องทำงาน artist@work โดยขณะนี้ ศิลปินรุ่นใหม่ชื่อ Miss Daniela Yohannes จากประเทศอังกฤษ มีผลงานสไตล์แอฟริกันร่วมสมัยที่น่าสนใจ เป็นศิลปินท่านแรกในโครงการ เริ่มเปิดสตูดิโอตั้งแต่วันที่16 กุมภาพันธ์ 53 และจะมีพิธีเปิดนิทรรศการ ในวัน ศุกร์ ที่ 26 มีนาคม 2553 ติดตามข้อมูลผ่านทางอินเทอร์เน็ตได้ทุกวันที่ http://artistatworkbkk.blogspot.com ----------------------------------------------------------------- The Pikture Gallery is proud to announce the opening of second floor and thrilled to share our new workshop spaces as well as an arts library and an art studio under the artist @ work project. The ARTIST @ WORK project was created in 2009 to give a platform for amateur artists. This is to give them time, space and opportunity to explore what's in their hearts, mind and soul. In the space of 2 - 3 months, the artist will create a series of work under one concept from start to finish and at the end, an exhibition will be held at the ARTIST@WORK studio. Current artist in residence is Miss Daniela Yohannes. Originally from Eritrea but living in London , this British artist brings us Africana aesthetics with a contemporary concept definitely something not to miss. This studio is open to public visits and can be viewed from the 16th of February, between the hours of 10am to 7pm or log on to http://artistatworkbkk.blogspot.com to follow a day-to-day account of Danielas progress. On the 26th of March, we will hold an exhibition celebrating the completion of her residency and to showcase the work.
